This department of the company is responsible for the various ICT solutions proposed to both Government and private organisations. it performs the following functions;

 

Technology consultancy services to produce blue print and implement the following;

  • Design, develop and maintain the states Website to display detailed information relating to the state and its various ministries.
  • Connectivity of all ministries also linked in the most efficient and cost effective manner so that all relevant files and data can be shared across all arms of government as may be necessary.
  • Provide Internet Access using VSAT Technology to all ministries and government establishments.
  • Design, implement and install enterprise wide applications across all ministries to assist in accounting, budgeting/forecasting, supplier management, asset & inventory tracking and pay role systems etc
  • Design, implement and install a document management system across all government institutions, parastatals etc to capture electronically, and all paper based documents and files in an easily retrievable form to last for over 100 years.

 

 

ICT training and awareness

Project Services Global Link Limited engages itself in training programs for individual members of various ministries and private companies on usage of various Microsoft application packages. Such packages include;

  • Microsoft Word for document creation, editing and formatting
  • Microsoft Excel / spreadsheets for data entry, data editing and statistics calculations
  • Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations
  • Microsoft Outlook for emails

Information Technology and Business Solutions

Web based application/Intranets

We develop various web based client-server applications for revenue collection and management, asset and fleet management etc for various sectors. We use technologies such as flash, HTML, DHTML, Visual Basic.Net, PHP and MYSQL in developing robust, secure and scalable applications hosted on a web server. Such applications are accessible from any part of the world via the Internet using the relevant log on details.

Bantuway Web is an Online Stock Control Application, also used to collect, collate and process sales data from an EPOS system across a LAN or WAN, reconciling expenditure with sales data, presenting the information in the form of management reports.

 

Asset Management Application

At PSGL Ltd, we have developed a customizable Asset Tracking System (ATS) that enable companies effectively manage and track their physical assets such as vehicles, computers, machinery, furniture, cars or fleet, premises or buildings and other hardware or even software. ATS can also be deployed and accessed via the Internet. 

 

Computer based training software

We have also developed in partnership with our overseas partners a computer based training software (CBT) which can be used in training company employees, government officials, management staff, students etc that covers the basic concepts of IT, spreadsheets, managing files, use of computer networks etc. It is suitable for starter, intermediate and advanced computer based learning.

 

High vs. Continuous availability systems/Disaster recovery

Application or system downtime costs billions and puts customer relationships at risk, when systems go down consumer or customer confidence is shaken. Many organizations have made substantial investments in high availability solutions to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations. All current high availability solutions fall short of providing continuous availability to end-users.

PSGL Ltd offers Continuous Availability architecture or systems, which provides for automatic client fail over ensuring continuous end-user availability. Support for fail back enables a seamless move back to the original configuration once the primary server has been restarted. 

 

Networks

We are able to design, implement networks and computer connectivity such as Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Wireless Networks, Virtual Private Networks and Broadband etc. We deploy Cisco products such as routers, switches and catalyst series.

We are currently acting as technical partners in setting up, developing and maintaining a wireless Internet service provider infrastructure for a property development company abroad.

Document Management Solution

Project Services Global Link Ltd aims to develop applications that give value added services to our clients and an unmatched user experience.
